Tie Dye Jeans

Tie dye Jeans. Tie dye Jeans have always been a great idea to wear, they can get a lot of attention when walking on the streets, which I totally love. This jeans were hard to find so I made them myself, with bleach, how cool is that, right? 

While I was Doing it, I realized that there is nothing perfect and sometimes things just don´t happen how you planned, I mess it a little bit while bleaching, the reason? The front part didn´t get white, it was totally black. I really thought that it was messed up, but then I thought, why not doing the same thing but backwards… it do worked and the jeans were perfect.The bleach if someone asks me it will never be the same from one jean to another, even if the same person do it. (If someone wants to learn how I did it, soon I will post it here on the blog…) 

So what I learned while doing the DIY, is that maybe that happens in real life, things don´t happen as planned and sometimes things are just meant to be, and maybe we all can figure out a way to change some things. Just think, look into your heart and always be true to yourself.

Botik jeans. Estos jeans siempre han sido increíbles, algo que adoro es que pueden llamar mucho la atención. Fue difícil encontrar el perfecto par de jeans, así que decidí hacerlo yo misma con blanqueador, que tal eso?

Cuando lo estaba haciendo, me di cuenta de que nada es perfecto y a veces las cosas no salen como lo planeamos, me equivoque un poco cuando estaba blanqueando, la razón? quedaron negros totalmente del frente. Pensé que no había solución hasta que pensé, bueno de pronto si hago lo mismo pero al revés, y paso quedaron perfectos. El blanqueador si alguien pregunta, nunca van a quedar iguales dos pares de jeans, incluso si la misma persona los hace. (Si quieren saber como los hice, solo estén atentos, lo pondré acá en el blog...)

Lo que aprendí haciendo estos jeans, es que tal vez en la vida real, las cosas no pasan como lo planeamos y a veces es lo que tiene que pasar, de pronto podemos tratar de arreglar las cosas o cambiarlas. Solo pensar, mirar en el corazón y siempre ser honesto con uno; es de lo mas importante.

Sneak peek. After some days working a lot on my photography class exposition, I could get out to take the sun, which is really amazing lately, normally it rains or the weather is bad here in Bogotá, but I don´t know the sun is having its best time. 

On the other hand, lets talk about my jeans. I made them, they were old and were damaged by me with super cool UHU (Hated it, from the first moment I used it), but now they are fixed and I totally love them. 

I´ll let you know how I made them soon, and you will get to see the look of the day, this is just a sneak peek of my outfit.

Reojo. Después de hacer arreglos en la exposición de mi curso de fotografía, pude tomar un poco el sol, que últimamente esta increíble, normalmente el clima apesta acá en Bogotá, pero no se el sol esta de fiesta!

Por otra parte, hablemos de mis jeans. Yo los hice, eran viejos y los dañe con UHU, la única vez que lo use lo odie. ahora los arregle y los adoro.

Les haré saber cómo los hice, y podrán ver el look del día, esto es solo un reojo de mi atuendo.

"Cómo perros y gatos"

 Esta entrada esta dedicada solamente a personas que residan en Bogotá. Durante el 6 de junio hasta el 9 de Junio habrá una exposición de un curso de fotografía al cual asisto. 

Las fotos fueron tomadas con cámaras análogas, cada uno de los rollos y ampliaciones fueron hechas por cada uno de los estudiantes. El tema fue "Como perros y gatos", en el cual teníamos que tomar fotos urbanas de perros y gatos callejeros, fue una asignación muy bonita, y las fotografías de todos mis compañeros son hermosas. 

Así que sin mas que decir, los invito a la exposición, la inauguración será el 6 de Junio de 2012 a las 7 de la noche en la Calle 74 No. 5 50. Espero puedan ir y que tengan un buen fin de semana.

Peplum. This trend is one of the most amazing come back, it was used back in the 40s and the 80s. Now it is a reality that designer houses such as Marchesa, Nina Ricci and Christian Dior among others insertion shirts, dresses and skirts these add, it definitely highlights the natural waist and also for those people who have not-so-flat  stomachs it masks it perfectly. Finally stylist people are wearing it. Such as Taylor Tomasi Hill, Katy Perry and Whitney Port, just to mention a few.

The designer presented in the colection the inspiration she got from the nature, from volcanoes, lighting storms, and sun storms, each one is inspired by the colors that represent each theme.

Coachella is one of the most popular music and arts festival, it is made in California. And what I most like about it is the people who shares their style-chella, by wearing the most amazing outfits.

These are one of the best outfits I get to see.  All of them were taken on the location of the festival.

Coachella. Definitely this music festival is amazing, this year I wanted to go and maybe I would have the chance to go, if it were not on the holiday before my 3rd cut. Also I have the MNG shopping night, which I am not going to miss. Maybe next year, I don´t know.

The first day

The first day off. Since the day I started uni, it has consumed all my time, I have been really busy, with a lot of homework, and also I´ve been worried about the decision I made. I am not sure about the career I picked, so I´ll just wait for the semester to end and think about it a little more calm. Maybe I will find a job, or something ´till the end of the year. 

Now talking about what I picked for todays outfit, I chose a lose grey-dot shirt with a white sweater, which is really special I loved it because yes it is simple but in the back it turns out to be longer than the front part, both are from ZARA. I decided to pair them with the Forever21 black jeans and finally I picked the amazing perspex heels, which totally take to another level the outfit.
