So here is a little history about this gorgeous print.The paisley pattern or print is of Persian origin and some people believed by that time that it is the convergence of a stylized floral spray and a Cypress tree, and also that it is a symbol of life and eternity. It has been used in Iran by some Dynasties periods, used to decorate royal crowns and court garments, but it was also used by the general population.

While i was searching for some of this patter history I confirmed my self that this print is so ¨Old school¨ just to tell you that Fender made a paisley print telecaster (if you are not associated with this term, it is an ultimate guitar made by the 50s, which revolutionized the world of electric guitars), also Prince and the Revolution made a song named "paisley Park". I decided to hear the song and as this pattern has a psychedelic feel.

I just fall more in love with this print, i just bought some pieces, little shopaholic I am. It makes alive anything, perfect for a pair of jeans, some heels, with a blazer or shirt in this print. Ok there are also this gorgeous suits. and even swimsuits. let me ask who would´t like to rock a paisley swimsuit? I am definitely on. It is just perfect, just a secret; it can dissimulate very well any imperfection of our body.

Street-spiration

This is a little inspiration I took from one of the most amazing blogs referring to street style. Prints and colorful pieces are a big part in my life, they can add something special to any kind of outfit. I love that paisley print, is so old school but so chic and stylish. Flowers, lets not talk about them they are just gorgeous, a dress, a suit or whatever it is, they look amazing, and adds some spring to any outfit, which is perfect for those cold days of autumn and winter.

Esto es una pequeña inspiración que tome de uno de los mejores blogs de street style. Los estampados y las prendas coloridas son una gran parte de mi vida, agregan un toque de especialidad a cualquier atuendo. Amo el estampado paisley, es muy chic y estilizado. Flores, bueno ellas son solo flores pero son tan hermosas que en cualquier prenda se ven increíble, y pareciera que lleváramos algo de primavera.

Fringe has always been a really cool detail, it just adds some fun to a simple outfit. Just look the inspiration pictures above, those really rock the detail. DIY. I remembered I made this clutch with the United States colors last year, It is perfect for tomorrow, so you can take it wherever you are celebrating the Independence day. You can learn how I made it following the steps below.

For the very first moment I saw Coccinelle bags, on Veronica Ferraro´s blog, the fashion fruit, I fall in love with these bags. They can add something special to the most simple outfit, and what I love the most is that there is a style for every person out there, they come in every single color and also they offer other products such as footwear, jewelry and scarves. As for where are the brand from, it is from Italy, exactly Parma.

I definetely would not think twice to buy one of these bags, unfortunately they do not send Colombia, but for sure when someone is coming from the states I will ask for one of them!! My favorite ones from the Spring Summer ´12 collection are below.

Dreams may come

 

Dreams may come. This is the outfit I wore for a casual day of vacations, I am searching for fashion schools, I do not want to study fashion design but would love to study fashion business or styling. I found the AMFI, I loved the idea of living in amsterdam since is one of the most amazing cities in the world, just by the fact that they move on their bicycles, I love this!!! Just look at these pictures. Ok going back to school, I may not be entering this year, but net year, I am making the impossible to make it. Let´s hope everything goes well. If you have any recommendation. I love to hear it from you, just post on the comment box, I would appreciate it a lot!

As for what I wore, for a while, I wanted mint accessories,  a shirt, a dress, something. I finally got this dress at the In love with fashion online store. I totally went crazy about this dress. It´s perfect for any ocation. It would look amazing without tights, adding a pair of black sandals. Definitely would have worn it like that if the weather here in bogota was better. Hope you are having summery days where you live or at least where you are spending vacations.

Dreams may come. Estoy en busca de universidades de moda, No quiero estudiar diseño de modas pero me encantaría estudiar mercadeo o estilismo. Encontre la AMFI, amo la idea de vivir en Amsterdam, pues es una de las mejores ciudad de el mundo, solo por el hecho de que hay más bicicletas que personas, amo eso!!! sólo miren estas fotos. Bueno, volviendo a lo de la universidad, puede que no entre este año pero el próximo, haré lo imposible para poder entrar. Esperemos todo salga bien, Si tienen alguna recomendación, amaría escucharlas!

En cuanto a lo que estoy usando, estaba en busca de algo menta, un vestio, falda, blusa, algún accesorio. Por fin encontré este vestido en la tienda In love with fashion, adore todo de este vestido. Especialmente porque es perfecto para cualquier ocasión. Solo imaginen sin medias y unas sandalias negras. Lo hubiera usado así pero el clima acá en bogotá no es muy bueno. Espero estén teniendo días soleados donde vivan o por lo menos donde estén de vacaciones.
