TREND REPORT "TARTAN, PLAID, CHECK..."

Traditional Plaid. Since I was a little child I saw this pattern on my moms closet, I just loved it, it reminds me of the christmas season, but now there is a change, I mean, it is not just red and black or blue, it now comes with a touch of green, beige, yellow and so on. Also it reminds me of the Burberry traditional check bags, trench coats, wallets... It is amazing that it matches with everything.

What do you think about this? Would you try a checked piece?

Escocés tradicional. Desde que soy chiquita veo este patrón en el armario de mi mama, simplemente lo amaba, da un aire como a navidad. Ahora hay un pequeño cambio, me refiero a que no es solo rojo y negro o azul, sino que ahora hay una variacion en estos colores, se adicionaron verdes, azules, amarillos, mostaza, y muchos colores mas. También me recuerda a las piezas tradicionales de Burberry, tales como las chaquetas de trincheras, gabardinas, bolsos, billeteras... Es increíble como esto se puede usar con todo.

¿Qué opinan de esta tendencia? ¿Usarian alguna pieza escocesa?

"LEARNING TO FLY"

Learning To Fly. This outfit was shot yesterday on the first year of the blog. I am so grateful for everything, now I am doing some partnership with brands, going to some "fashion shows", hope this last forever. This is my dream, and even though things don´t tend to happen as I am thinking or dreaming, it doesn´t matter, because sometimes it turns out to be better. The trick is living everyday as it was the last.

For this time I chose an american apparel trouser in black, i just love them they are so comfy. as pjs seriously! Pair them with a peplum top, this is amazing, and maybe I look on some pictures as if I was pregnant. For a bag I chose a camera bag. It was cold so the hat was perfect. To give the look a bit of color I chose a pair of mustard heels.

Learning To Fly. Este atuendo lo use ayer en el primer cupleaños del blog. Estoy muy agradecida por todo, ahora hago algunas colaboraciones con ciertas marcas, voy a algunas pasarelas, espero dure para siemre. Este es mi sueño, y aunque las cosas no sucedan como quiero o deseo, no importa porque muchas veces pasa que resultan mejores. El truco es vivir cada día como si fuera el último.

Elegi usar unos pantalones de american apparel en negro, los amo son muy cómodos, casi como pijamas encerio. Los use con un peplum top, es hermoso y depronto en algunas fotos pareciera que estoy embarazada, pero me encanta. Como bolso decidi usar un bolso para cámara. Estaba haciendo un poco de frio asi que el sombrero fue ideal. Para darle un poco de color decidi usar unos tacos en mostaza.

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY GOLD STYLE BOOK

This is the day I started the blog as Gold Style Book, it has passed through a lot of names.. well just two.. till´ I came into this one. This reflects one of my favourite accesories color... GOLD.. as for the theme it would be about my STYLE and inspiration... and where this would be placed, a BOOK (well internet, but I just would love that my point of view someday would be placed on a book).

Thanks to all of the people who support me and who appreciate al of my work. This is done for you. Also I want to encourage you to reach your dreams, I am just starting, this is a piece of what I am looking in the future. From something little it can grow something BIG!!

Este es el día, hace un año que empece el blog como Gold Style Book, ha pasado por varios nombres, bueno, dos... Hasta que llegue a este. Este refleja uno de mis colores favoritos para accesorios.. ORO.. el tema bueno es acerca de mi ESTILO e inspiración... y donde sera plasmado un LIBRO (Bueno internet, pero me encantaria que mi punto de vista fuera plasmado en un libro, algún día)

Gracias a todas esas personas que han apoyado este gran proyecto y mi trabajo.. Es hecho para ustedes... También queiro decirles que si yo estoy empezando con mi sueño ustedes porque no empiezan.. de algo pequeño puede salir algo muy grande.

MNG SHOPPING NIGHT 2012-2

This time I was invited again, to the Mango Shopping Night. I hope I can go, it is the thursday and I have a lot of homeworks for Friday. Can you imagine I have to deliver two models, a lot of plans, I hope I can make it. I am doing my best, and I am not sleeping so I hope it is worth it :)

If I go, I´ll have a post for Saturday or Monday, not counting Sunday, because I am sleeping. And finally I am done with uni. for this year at least.

Fui invitada otra vez a la mango Shopping Night Bogota. Espero poder ir, es este jueves y tengo muchísimas tareas para el viernes. Pueden imaginarse, tengo que entregar dos maquetas y un millón de planos, espero lograrlo. Estoy haciendo lo mejor, y no estoy durmiendo así que espero valga la penaç

Si voy, esperen un post el sábado o el Lunes, no cuento el Domingo, pues dormiré zzz. Y finalmente acabo la universidad, bueno este semestre, al menos

Print on print. I love this trend, it is simple, and seriously has nothing boring!! What you may think? freaking difficult to make the perfect pair. So just follow my tip: "if you like it, then who cares" Most of the times is not about making the perfect combination, it is just how you feel about the clothes, for example I would not wear creepers, but I think that Doina rocks them, the reason: she feels amazing with them. What people can translate by their face, the vibe, the energy is impossible not to feel it, and that is why people look amazing or hedious. 

So here is a bit of inspiration, so you can check and try your own.

You should try this trend, and tell me how you work it girls...

Estampado en estampado. Amo esta tendencia, es simple, y no tiene nada de aburrida. Lo que pueden pensar? es muy y difícil hacer la pareja perfecta. Asi que solo sigan mi consejo ¨Si te gusta, entonces a quien le importa".  Muchas veces no es acerca de hacer la combinación perfecta, es de como se sienten frente a la ropa, por ejemplo, no usaría unos creepers, pero creo que Doina los lleva increíble, la razón: ella se siente increíble con ellos. Las personas pueden trasmitir tanto en la cara, su vibra y su energía, que es imposible no sentirlo, Por tal razón es que algunas personas se ven bien o mal.

aquí hay algo de inspiración, espero intenten esta tendencia.
