INDEPENDENCE DAY

CELEBRATION. Well it comes the day when we all Colombians celebrate Independence Day, my only concern, if you ask, "Why we do not celebrate it like Americans?". I mean we do celebrate it with a little fair in the centre of the city, with a little gorgeous and noisy F-15 show from the FAC (Colombian Aerial Force). But, how come we do not make this amazing barbecues, festivities, and all this.

Well, I will try to do one with friends and family or at least show you guys, some DIY projects, for your festivities, wether they are for birthday or a special occasion, as I know it is not the same date in the whole world (that would be selfish). CELEBRACIONES. Ya viene el día en que todos los Colombianos celebramos el día de la independencia, mi única duda, si me preguntan, "¿por qué no lo celebramos como los Estadounidenses?". Me refiero a que sí lo celebramos con una pequeña marcha en el centro de la ciudad, y un bonito y ruidoso show de F-15-ces por parte de la FAC (Fuerza Aérea Colombiana). Pero, como es posible no hacer esas increíbles barbacoas, asados, y eso.

Bueno pues este año, tratare de hacer una con amigos y mi familia o por lo menos mostrarles a ustedes algunos proyectos DIY (hazlo tu misma), para sus festividades, ya sean para un cumpleaños o una ocasión en especial, que como ya se no es la misma fecha en todo el mundo (eso sí sería envidioso de mi parte). Espero disfruten y si hacen algo no se les olvide mostrarme y compartirlo en mis redes sociales.

BEACH, PLAYA, SUN, OCEAN...

Beach Day. The time has come, and as I have read all over the internet it looks that the sun is shining, and its time to take the swimsuit, the sun screen out and leave some make up at home. Since the heat and the water can take all of it, and we do not want to look like mummies, the best thing is to look fresh , and with an effortless style.

One of my recommendations is to use a great sunscreen, if you hate the cream and sticky one, why not looking for a liquid one - the one I use also it works as a astringent lotion - wear some water proof mascara and you are great to go out on a beach day. Well, also you need to take your bathing suit, and sunnies. In the down part, I recommend you some looks you may love for a day at the beach, pool, or park.

Día de playa. El tiempo ha llegado, bueno acá en Colombia si uno viaja a las costas o a algunos pueblos que quedan cerca al nivel del mar siempre hay solecito, así que es hora de sacar los trajes de baños, el bloqueador solar y dejar el maquillaje en casa, pues el calor y el agua los quitará, y no queremos parecer momias. La mejor manera es vernos frescas y con un estilo simple.

Una de mis recomendaciones es usar un bloqueador solar bueno, si odian esos que son cremosos y pegajosos, por que no buscar uno liquido - el que yo uso (SOLOR loción, es verdecito y se consigue en cualquier farmacia en Colombia) también actúa como loción astringente- usar pestañean a prueba de agua y ya están listas para salir a la playa. Bueno, también lleven su traje de baño, y unas gafas de sol. Aquí abajo les recomiendo algunos looks que puede que les gusten.

They are, as moms, the people that we can always count on, the ones in most of the cases, or in mine, don't know jet, that are more reasonable, the ones that give us everything we want, in other words, they spoil us. Hola a todos, esta entrada esta inspirada en nuestros padres! Ellos son, como las mamás, las personas en las que siempre podremos confiar, los que en la mayoría de casos, o en el mío, no se todavía, son los más rasonables, los que nos dan todo lo que queremos, en otras palabras son los que nos malcrían. Así, que por qué no malcriarlos a ellos en este mes, su mes (por lo menos acá en Colombia). Que tal darle al impecable un corbatín, al deportivo una buena camisa y al geek una buena carcaza o una camera. Hay mucho de que escoger.
