HAPPY NEW YEAR... AND THANK YOU!!

This year has been crazy, I have not posted as much as I would like but, I try to post and keep on balance my university, personal and blog life, it is really difficult. People may say that having a blog is something really easy, as a matter of fact it is not, you have to take pictures, if not search for licensed ones or pay for the rights, also writing I think that it is an important part of my blog. so it takes two to three hours to make a post. Other things about the blog life are the emails, the affiliate links, these are important things of Gold Style Book. Also, keeping up with blow, magazines, and news.

Este año fue una locura, no escribí tantas entradas como quisiera, pero trate de escribir y mantener un balance entre la universidad, mi vida personal y el blog, es realmente divicil. Las personas dirán que tener un blog es algo demasiado fácil, de hecho no lo es, hay que tomar fotos, y si no hay que buscar imágenes licenciadas o pagar por los derechos, de la misma forma escribir acá es muy importante. Así que para que una entrada salga al aire son por lo menos tres horas de trabajo. Igualmente hay otras cosas aparte de escribir el blog, como responder correos, los links de promoción y otras cosas. También mantenerme al tanto de lo que pasa, es importante, leer blogs y revistas, también ver noticias y leer el periódico (sólo leo los titulares pero si algo me interesa leo la historia completa)

This year Jamie Spence, and ELLE UK editor contacted me, If he could use this picture above, that was like being in heaven, I absolutely told him that I was on. Unfortunately I could not get my hands on the issue.

Este año me contacto Jamie Spence, un editor de la revista ELLE UK, me dijo que si podía usar la imagen de arriba para un especial de fiestas, cuando lo leí pensé que estaba en el cielo, le respondí que sí. Desafortunadamente no pude conseguir un ejemplar.

Also, I get to change the location of my pictures, not just my "awesome" house...

Tamibén, logre cambiar la locación de mis fotos, no sólo en mi "increíble" casa...

I started to make and draw my own illustrations, I´m not so good but I hope one day be really good :)

y además empece a hacer mis propias ilustraciones, no soy muy buena pero espero algún día ser muy buena :)

'TIS THE SEASON...

THE TIME TO RECONCILIATE. When it comes this time of the year, it is supposed to be a special time, full of happiness, love and friendship. But somehow we humans tend to make mistakes, the important thing is to know that we are not perfect and we can make it better. For me, this year has been full of love, happiness, lies and fights. I hate the bad things, but, somehow they are important, the fact is that to know what are good things you need to know what are bad things. So, I've made lots of mistakes this year, lie, "forget" about people, thinking too much, that las one makes my life really hard! I wish I didn't think that much, its like a curse or something I have, I really hate that. Why not have the moto of "You only live once", that would be better, at least at this time I am thinking that! So for the people that I know and I have forgot to tell a happy birthday, just call to know how they are doing, I don't know, just this little details that makes my life better everyday, sorry. I will change that, and I am trying so hard to change some bad things like that. And for those who tend to do this mistakes or have someone special and haven't done this, forgive and forget, make the change and be happy, I think everything would be alright. 

I know you are wondering why I am doing this post, well at first I just wanted to write about how I am feeling right now, many people may think that there are people with perfect lives, here is a clue, there is no perfect and by the way it so overrated. I do not like to share things of my personal life, but hey, we all tend to have these kind of times. So make sure you don't think too much, and don't forget about people who you care, that is the biggest mistake you can possibly do.

TIEMPO DE RECONCILIACIÓN. Cuando llega esta época del año, se trata de un tiempo especial,  lleno de felicidad, amor y amistad. Pero de alguna manera nosotros los humanos tendemos a cometer algunos errores, lo importante es saber que no somos perfectos y que podemos hacer las cosas mejor. Este año para mi fue lleno de amor, felicidad, mentiras y peleas. Odio las cosas malas, pero, de alguna manera son importantes, el hecho es que para saber que es lo bueno debemos saber que es lo malo. Así, que he cometido muchos errores este año, he mentido, "olvidado" amigos y personas, además de pensar las cosas demasiado, esta última hace que mi vida sea más divicil! Desearía no pensar tanto, es como una maldición o algo. Por qué no tener una ley de vida como "Sólo vives una vez", eso sería bien bueno, por lo menos es lo que pienso en estos momentos! Así que para las personas que saben que me he olvidado de desearle un Felíz Cumpleaños, o sólo llamar a saber como estaban las cosas, no se estos pequeños detalles que a mi me hacen feliz  perdón. Por mi, voy a cambiar eso y estoy tratando demasiado, para cambiar estas cosas malas. 

Se estarán preguntando porque estoy escribiendo esta entrada, bueno primero quería escribir cómo me estoy sintiendo en este momento, muchas personas tienden a pensar que hay personas con vidas perfectas, un consejo, no hay nada perfecto y de paso esta muy sobreevaluado. No me gusta compartir cosas de mi vida personal pero bueno, todos alguna vez en la vida tenemos una ocasión donde nos sentimos así. Así que asegurense de no pensar demasiado, y no se olviden de las personas que les important, es un error bien grande.

SPORTY CHIC

SPORTY CHIC.  Hello you guys!! Today I am not saying sorry for the lack of posts, it is getting really a habit so not whining today. On the other side, I hope you had an amazing weekend, spend with your beloved ones. Here in Colombia we have a celebration which take part the 7th of December, in which we burn a lot, meaning a lot of candles. Its a day in which we eat natilla, buñuelos, drink wine, and coke, well its not what we eat but the amount, we do eat a lot.  I spend this date in my cousins house on the countryside, amazing view and so cosy home, it was all about eating, being with the family, and resting. I certainly do not have pictures about what I wore, I forget my camera at home, but sometimes it is good to rest and keep work away for some days.

When it comes to comfy dressing there is nothing better than a pair of sneakers, vans, converse, well all kind of sporty shoes. These Vans were on the black of my closet, thanks God, I never get rid of a lot of things, I have some good memories with some objets and some are gifted by very important and special people. This time I decided to wear them with a pair of jeans, a plaid shirt and this awesome coat from Zara, I love it by the fact that it is wool and leather, two of the most comfy materials for this super cold but sunny days. What do you guys think of this comfy yet chic look?


DEPORTIVA Y CHIC. Hola a todas! Hoy no me voy a quejar como siempre acerca de lo poco que he hecho entradas, ya se esta volviendo costumbre. Por otra parte, espero que hayan tenido un fin de semana increíble, y lo hayan pasado con sus seres queridos. Aquí en Colombia tenemos una celebración especial el 7 de Diciembre, en el que prendemos muchas veletas. Es un día en el que comemos natillas, buñuelos, tomamos vino y Coca-Cola, bueno no es lo que comemos sino la cantidad. Pase este día en la casa de mi primo en el campo, donde había una vista hermosa y además la casa era muy acogedora, todo se trato de pasar un buen tiempo con la familia, además descansar. No tome fotos acerca de lo que llevaba puesto, deje mi cámara en la casa, pero bueno, a veces es bueno descansar y dejar el trabajo por unos días.

Cuando se trata de un atuendo comido, no hay nada mejor que un par de tennis, cualquier clase de zapatos deportivos. Los Vans que estoy usando estaban en el fondo de mi armario, gracias a Dios, nunca me deshago de nada, hay varias cosas que me traen buenas memorias, o me las regalo alguna persona muy importante. Esta vez decidí usarlos con un par de Jeans, una camisa escocesa, la cual me recuerda mucho al uniforme de mi colegio, y con el abrigo de Zara, éste me encanta debido a que tiene una combinación de cuero y algodón, dos de los materiales mas cómodos para estos días fríos pero soleados. Qué opinan de este atuendo cómodo y aun chic?
